Frequently asked questions
How often will Kai text me?
We’re not going to blow up your phone, but you should expect to hear from Kai most days, and at least once per day Monday through Friday. The actual frequency depends on how often you ask questions or need guidance and what Kai has you working on at that moment.
Can I give Kai as a gift?
Of course! Email email@example.com and tell us you want to give a month (or more) of Kai's coaching to a friend and we'll work with you to make it happen.
Do I have to have a gym membership?
While it is recommended that you have access to a gym or reliable weightlifting equipment, you can start using Kai with no equipment at all.
What if I have food allergies or major injuries?
Kai can help set great fitness goals and pursue them, but Kai is not a replacement for a registered dietician, medical doctor, or therapist. If you have limitations regarding food or exercise, we’ll give you a way to let Kai know early in the process, and Kai will adapt to your needs.
How do I cancel my membership?
Just tell Kai via text that you'd like to cancel before your next renewal. You can also update your subscription by clicking on the "Manage My Account" button at the bottom of this page.
Is Kai a robot?
No, not really. Kai is part machine, part human, and part awesome. But these are not robo-texts, and we work very hard to make Kai personable, helpful, and able to communicate just like a great human coach would.
