Frequently asked questions
How often will Kai text me?
We’re not going to blow up your phone, but you should expect to hear from Kai most days, and at least once per day. The actual frequency depends on how often you ask questions or need guidance and what Kai has you working on at that moment.
Can I get a free trial of Kai?
Unfortunately, no. Right now, Kai is on a waiting list for new clients, and priority access to Kai is available for those who have pre-ordered at least one month of coaching from Kai (contact us for information on pre-orders).
Do I have to have a gym membership?
While it is recommended that you have access to a gym or reliable weightlifting equipment, you can start using Kai with no equipment at all.
What if I have food allergies or major injuries?
Kai can help set great fitness goals and pursue them, but Kai is not a replacement for a registered dietician, medical doctor, or therapist. If you have limitations regarding food or exercise, we’ll give you a way to let Kai know early in the process, and Kai will adapt to your needs.
Is Kai a robot?
No, not really. Kai is part machine, part human, and part awesome. But these are not robo-texts, and we work very hard to make Kai personable, helpful, and able to communicate just like a great human coach would.
What if I want to cancel?
You can cancel your subscription to Kai’s coaching at any time by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
I’m on the interest list, how long before I get to use Kai?
First of all, thank you! We love that you are interested in Kai. It’s difficult to make estimates of when Kai will be available to you. We are committed to making Kai an excellent experience, so we’re taking on new clients at an intentional pace. For a more specific update on your particular place on the list, email email@example.com. We also offer priority access for clients who have pre-ordered at least one month of Kai (contact us for information on pre-orders).
